Murder near Alki

A 33-year-old resident of the University District was shot in a car parked near 59th and Admiral Way on Saturday afternoon. Witnesses saw a male (who had also been in the car) leave the scene on foot eastbound on SW Hanford. The first officers at the scene performed first aid on the victim, who later died at Harborview. Despite efforts by K9 units and other officers, the suspect was not located.
Road rage near Northgate escalated to a serious assault here in West Seattle late Thursday. An angry driver followed some young people home, and when they challenged him to fight, he decided, instead to use his car as a battering ram. One young man jumped out of the way (but was grazed in the knee). The other wasn't so lucky and was hit "full on" by the Cadillac, suffering a possible pelvic fracture and internal brain injuries. The suspect vehicle drove off southbound on 47th SW and remains at large. The driver was a black male in his 20s, with a white female passenger. The car was a pearl-white Cadillac Eldorado with a chrome grill with horizontal (rather than the standard vertical) bars. (A reminder if you're being followed: Head for the nearest police or fire station or to a public place and lay on the horn to get attention. Don't drive home.)
In another road-rage incident, a white male in his 40s driving a blue Monte Carlo repeatedly tried to run a couple off the road near Cloverdale and Myers Way Saturday morning. In this instance, the victims were able to call 911 and report the license plate, which is registered to a local woman. The couple drove to a nearby service station to wait for officers. The suspect drove off.
While he waited at a light at Fauntleroy and Alaska early Thursday, a man was surprised when the car in front of him began to back up. After it hit his vehicle, he rolled down his window, expecting the driver to come back to discuss the matter. Instead, the yelling driver approached with a large rock in his hand, reached through the window and grabbed him. A man from a nearby business came over to help, and the suspect turned on both men and threw the rock. An area check for the vehicle, a dark-colored Pathfinder or 4-Runner, was unsuccessful. The suspect appeared to be in his 30s, about 5'9" with dark skin. He wore a black beanie, a brown hoodie and dark pants.
A woman reports that a stranger entered her unlocked apartment Friday afternoon while she was asleep on the couch. He then forced her into the bathroom and raped her. The incident occurred in the 7400 block of Fauntleroy Way. The suspect was a white male, 25-35 years old. Of medium build, he had scruffy light brown hair and scruffy mustache. He smelled "unbathed."
A scuffle allegedly occurred following last week's meeting of the 34th District Democrats. One participant with a disability was hit in the back by another attendee and began to feel pain. An officer suggested that the victim get the names of witnesses to the assault and call the precinct with that information.
Near 30th and Graham, a man was headed out his front door when he discovered a branch ripped from a tree in his front yard. He also found streaks of blood on his front door, steps, and porch. He hadn't heard any sort of disturbance, and 911 reported no calls from the area the previous night.
In the Junction area, a man was upset because the downstairs neighbor smokes and the smell drifts through the vents. It was obvious when he decided to retaliate: the lower tenant was startled to see urine streaming through her ceiling vent. It soaked TV, TV stand, and carpet.
When her friend began asking for body bags and declared that she was going to decapitate someone, a local woman wisely decided to call 911. Officers had the friend transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
