Driver arrested for outstanding warrants

Federal Way officers confronted the suspect and confirmed with him that he had been previously issued a trespass warning from the establishment. The police formally trespassed him and arrested him for the infraction. Upon searching his person, officers discovered that the suspect had in his possession several forms of drug paraphernalia, as well as marijuana. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Fife Jail without incident.

5. Federal Way officers followed up on a 911 call that originated from a school security officer from a school located at 625 South 314th Street. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. on September 23. The security officer told Federal Way police that he had the two juveniles, whose names were not mentioned in the report, detained for criminal trespass. The security guard stated that the two juveniles had already been served trespass notices through the Federal Way School District from last year. The security officers submitted a copy of their trespass notice with his report. Both juveniles were put into custody and later released to their parents. The case was sent to the juvenile prosecutor for filing.

6. An unnamed woman contacted Federal Way police to report a burglary that occurred at her residence, located in an apartment complex at 1852 South 284th Lane. Federal Way officers arrived at the scene and took a report from the victim. She told officers that the incident took place between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. on September 23. The report states that an unknown person or persons entered the woman's residence and removed several valuable pieces of property. The woman had no idea how the suspects entered her residence. The burglars took two gold necklaces, one worth $300 and the other $2,500, a gold ring valued at $800 and a pair of gold earrings valued at $300. The burglars also lifted a $30 luggage set and the woman's wallet and purse. There is no suspect information listed in the report.

7. The Target department store contacted Federal Way police to report that an unnamed suspect had been detained for shoplifting. The incident took place at 2201 South Commons around 5:18 p.m. on September 23. According to the report, the suspect selected various items of merchandise, walked by several manned registers, and attempted to leave the store without paying for it. The suspect was arrested without incident. The property was valued at $207.90, and was recovered and returned to the complainant.
