Kentwood defeated the Gators, 25-10, 25-14, 25-8, in a Monday, Oct. 15 match.
Nicole Mareko of Decatur had 11 kills and seven blocks and Mindy O'Meara had 10 assists. Christina Sessoms had four blocks.

The Titans took a 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 25-19 victory over Spanaway Lake Monday, Oct. 15.
Mackenzie Goff had 13 kills and 10 digs for Todd Beamer, while Camille Miller had 26 kills and four blocks and Kalyn Wilson 19 kills and five blocks. Alex Schultz led with 21 assists.

TC Colon contributed six kills to the Decatur cause, while Nicole Mareko and Dee Tanielu had five kills each. Whitney Iwasagi led with 10 digs and Mindy O'Meara came through with 13 assists.

Megan Hilby got the shutout for the Raiders in Thursday's win, and Sara Byrne scored on an Amy Pate assist in the first minute. Pate knocked in a Victoria Walsch assist in the 61st minute.

SPSL meet
This year's league meet was held in the wind and rain over the 3.1-mile course at Fort Steilacoom Park.
That did not bother the Thomas Jefferson girls team much, as the Raiders posted a first place finish with a score of 41 points. Todd Beamer came in sixth with 167 and Federal Way was 15th with 342.
Vanessa Bermann took third in the individual race in a time of 19 minutes, 55.97 seconds teammate Camryn Patrick placed fourth in 20:01.47 ahead of Cassidy (20:04.20).
Jasmine Johnson of Federal Way captured sixth in 20:07.94.
On the boys side, TJ placed seventh with 186 points ahead of Beamer (188) and Decatur (192). Federal Way scored 360 for 13th.
Justin Englund of Decatur finished fourth in16:23.08 and TJ's Jeff Baklund came in seventh in 16:38.69. Justin Helm of Decatur was eighth in 16:45.96.
