Age 74. Passed away November 1, 2007. Beloved mother of Sharon, Clifford, Deborah and Loren. Loving Grandmother to her seven grandchildren; Kevin, Elizabeth, Khallie, Joshua, Nicholas, Emily and Amanda. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, in 1997.

Joan was born and raised in Seattle, graduated from Roosevelt High School and enjoyed horseback riding. She met and married Clifford Saintz of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on September 19, 1952. They raised their family in Seattle, and their four children attended Ballard High School.

As a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, Joan loved to cook, bake, crochet, knit, sew and garden. She loved spending time with the family, playing cribbage and working crossword puzzles. She and Cliff were very avid members of Family Walkers. Her light heart and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Inurnment service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery; 8712 12th Ave. N.W., Seattle.
