'Tis the season for consumer reporters to release their "dangerous toy" lists. Perhaps this year they should consider the case of South Park couple who had a disagreement over the man's fidelity. The lovebirds started out spitting at each other. In the end, the woman took out her frustration by beating the man in the head and face with a Whack-a-Mole hammer. Officers relieved her of the weapon and booked her into King County Jail for investigation of domestic violence assault.
'Near 31st and Raymond, a domestic violence incident ended with an assault on a medic who arrived to help. Though the couple had been fighting (and the man was injured) the intoxicated female wanted to ride along in the ambulance to the hospital. She swore and had to be held back when medics said she couldn't go. Then the boyfriend got angry at the medics and punched one in the face. He was booked into King County Jail for the assault and for an outstanding warrant.

'Early Saturday, several 911 callers reported that a possible DUI suspect was speeding and swerving across the West Seattle Bridge. Moments later, a caller on Harbor Avenue reported that a driver had lost control and gone off the road and might be DUI. Officers noted that the car had spun out, left the road, and skidded across a driveway and sidewalk and up onto a grassy knoll. The driver was checked by medics and was unharmed, but had to lean against the patrol car to keep his balance. His breath had a strong odor of alcohol and his moods swung from cooperative to angry to apologetic. He refused to take a breathalyzer test. Because he was so hostile and impaired, he was booked into King County Jail.
'A woman was robbed at knifepoint at Fauntleroy and Othello early Monday by a man who followed her on a bus from Capitol Hill.
'A simple trip to a convenience store turned into fisticuffs for a couple of men on Sunday. One (the complainer) didn't approve of the way another customer had parked, and told him so. The complainee didn't take this too well-he kicked the complainer. The complainer soon got the upper hand by knocking the complainee to the ground, jumping on him, and punching him around the head and neck. He then left, driving off in a black Chevy Trailblazer.
'At the Junction, a woman returned to her car and found that a side window had been shattered. A witness told her that the man responsible had become frustrated while trying to maneuver his vehicle around hers. When he couldn't, he attacked her car with his fists. The suspect is a white male in his 20s, wearing a brown cap with a bill and a brown jacket. He fled the area in a black or blue Honda Civic.
