Reading this week's issue of the White Center News I sense a snootiness in the commentary re: "School critic remains focused on his task."
Do all the parents going to a School Board meeting show up in business suits? Are the only parents that go to these meetings business suit types? Is a business suit standard dress code for board meetings? Is it considered impossible to be wise enough to understand board meetings if you don't wear a business suit?
Being very comfortable in a flannel shirt myself, am I not wise enough to understand School Board meetings either?
If this was not the intent of the reporter, should it have been the very first paragraph of the article giving it "top billing?"
If this was the intent, then this could be a "shame on you."
