Last weeken Normandy Christian Church between Des Moines and Normandy Park is again offered a unique holiday treat.

From Dec. 14 to Dec. 16, the church presented its annual "Drive-through Christmas Story".

Visitors to the event were transported to Bethlehem while driving through the church parking lot.

Participants saw scenes of angels, shepherds, a donkey, sheep and goats. Scenes included the Nativity with church volunteers portraying Mary, Joseph and the Wise Men. Another scene depicts guests at the inn.

The idea for the event was from Greg Wright and Kyle Moffitt about six years ago. The animals were from PJ's Pet Ranch in Burien and the Bradner Family Farm in Black Diamond.

The church is located at 908 S. 200th Street in Des Moines.
