An evening of lop-sided matches worked in the Gators' favor last Thursday night, as the Decatur wrestling squad emerged from the rubble victorious on their home mat.

Only four of the evening's 14 battles resulted in a decision. The others ended up with one wrestler pinned, usually quickly into the match.

When tallying the score, those crucial pins made the difference for Decatur, as the two teams split the 14 matches with seven wins each. Luckily for Decatur, which racked up six pins, their stacked varsity squad out-gunned and out-wrestled a weaker Kentlake team when it mattered most.

The Gators added another digit to the win column, knocking off the Falcons, 42-32.
