I would like to agree with the letter from Jim Clark (1/23/08) and I'm sure many others in town agree.

I have lived in this area for 35 years and dislike many of the changes of our nice little town.

I do not own a boat and do not plan to in the future. However, I do enjoy seeing people able to launch boats easily in Des Moines.

This is a boating area and should continue to be known as such.
