Ambaum Boulevard in the city of Burien is a nightmare for automobile suspension systems. I wondered why people use the left or passing lane more than the right hand lane. The reason I feel is when the road was repaved several years ago, they did not raise the street drains to the correct level. When your car hits one it is a jarring experience. Then the many manhole covers and steel boxes are also not at the correct height.
And let us not forget when contractors tear up a section of road the patch they apply sometimes lasts and sometimes not, leaving another gaping hole. My car always seems to find them. Regardless, the patch always leaves a bump or a depression. Either way your car lets you know.
