Anticipating replies by the likes of David Guthrie, I included URL's for the websites I drew my conclusions from. Sadly for me, several were edited out due to lack of space.
For info on "Moving Forward in the South End", http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/Viaduct/southend.htm is the Washington State Department of Transportation Web site.
To read the 80 page "Alaskan Way Viaduct stakeholder interview report." www.wsdot.wa.gov/NR/rdonlyres/1BFB8062-F832-4DAB-A4A4-6F14B76ABDE3/0/AW… is the Washington State Department of Transportation Web site where I found it.
In my comments on this interview report, in Point 3.) after the sentence ending in "by 5 to 1" should have been the sentence, "Why was not also considered Pulitzer-winning Dave Horsey whose SaturdaySpin question results are at "http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/saturdayspin/181511_bqeb10.html?" Without that sentence, the following comments in Point 3.) don't make sense, so I understand how David Guthrie would consider me an ignorant ranter.
However, anyone who takes the time to read and analyze the information at the provided Web sites would have to agree with me even if they prefer something other than an elevated highway, SR99, in the current waterfront corridor.
