Federal Way resident Carol Gregory last week announced her campaign for 30th Legislative District Representative.
With her extensive background in public education, economic development and creating access to living wage jobs, Carol Gregory will run a strong campaign for state representative.
Gregory will run for the seat currently held by Rep. Skip Priest.
"We keep coming back to the same challenges. I decided that my background in public education and job training could make a key difference in solving some of our toughest issues," said Gregory.
Gregory_s background includes:

Served as King County Executive Ron Sims representative on the Seattle/King County Workforce Development Council. (2000-2002)
Executive Director, BuRSST for Prosperity (2006-Present)
Gregory will focus on four key issue areas:
Ensuring Quality Public Schools
As a former teacher and grandmother of three Federal Way students, Carol understands firsthand we need to make our public schools a top priority. Our state legislature needs to ensure that our kids can compete in the global economy. Carol has a consistent track record of supporting early education, funding for K-12 programs and higher education opportunities for every family.
Improving Fiscal Accountability
Carol believes we need a state government that is responsible for our tax dollars. Every state project should be audited to ensure they are on time and on budget.
Access To Living Wage Jobs
Whether it_s keeping aerospace jobs in the Puget Sound or supporting our high tech community, Carol is committed to working across party lines so workers can receive the education and training they need to compete in the global economy.
Reducing Traffic Congestion
Our transportation system is not working. Too many people are stuck in their cars commuting when they want to be home with their families. Carol is committed to giving commuters more choices, improving freight mobility, increasing transit options and supporting telecommuting.
Carol Gregory currently lives in Federal Way with her husband Gil.
