Editor's note: a copy of this letter was also sent to the Seattle City Council and Mayor Greg Nickels, as well as to this newspaper.
I think maybe we should give up on rail, seems we only have one train going. The Red Eye, the Blue one is down. Who built the parts? Were they U.S.A. parts? What's going on?
And you really stepped in it this time. The porta potties aren't working out. Not to worry, it's only going to cost $500,000 in rental due, and canceling contract will only cost $150,000. Not what is what I call waste! We are going to pot!
Now, about the market being upgraded. I don't mind the $37 we each have to pay. But I think that City Light and the gas company should replace and relocate the meters all without cost to the taxpayers. As they put the motors in wrong to start, across from each other. One ark from the electrical short and the market would be gone, along with our lives. This needs to be fixed now; it's not a pothole. If you don't fix the problem now you will really cost all of us. Lives and taxes!
