I am writing to express my appreciation for the film reviews of Bruce Bulloch.

What I most enjoy is how well written and interesting his work is. It's not at all necessary to have prior knowledge about the work. Each piece of his gives me an idea of what his point of view is, why he says what he does. Each is interesting in its own right.

As someone who has long been highly critical of all opinion pieces, I'm very glad that Mr. Bulloch writes for the West Seattle Herald.
