Morton's Pharmacy is sold
Morton's Pharmacy has been sold to Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, making its third store in Seattle.
Pharmaca will take over the retail and pharmacy operations of Morton's by the end of May. The pharmacy staff and policies of Morton's will remain in place.
After 25 years with Morton's, owner Bill McNary decided to sell the pharmacy because of Pharmaca's philosophy on wellness and reputation for customer service.
"I felt an obligation to sell to someone who would continue dedicated service to my loyal customers," McNary explained. "Morton's will only get better from this deal with a larger range of wellness products, ranging from cosmetics and shampoos to herbs and vitamins. They are a good fit for this area of Seattle," he said.
Morton's Pharmacy is located at 4707 California Ave. S.W. The store will remain open for over-the-counter and pharmacy services during remodeling and reconstruction. McNary will remain on staff during the transition.
West Seattle Radiator Service will go out of business on May 1 after 61 years, said owner William Burns. The company was started in 1947.
Burns said the property at 4460 37th Ave. S.W., near Fauntleroy, will be sold by August.
The shop will be open on May 1 through 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to sell radiator shop and office equipment.
"We wish to thank you for the many years of loyalty in sending us your business," Burns said. "Again thank you for your support."
