Thank you for writing such an informative and enjoyable article on the newly refurbished Steve Cox Field. The Puget Sound Senior Baseball League (www.pssbl.com) has committed $15,000 towards the park for renovation over the next three years. The Puget Sound Senior Baseball League is made up entirely of adult recreational baseball players, and thus this donation came out of the pockets of many very dedicated and charitable members of our community.

This community organization was not recognized along with the other volunteers you mentioned in your April 7, 2008 article in the West Seattle Herald and White Center News.
