Snohomish-based Periwinkle Rose employees and customers wore the company's signature sleepwear to help raise money for foster kids.
Federal Way resident Shawn Mercalde joined the team, which placed fourt at the event, for a second season.
The Pajama Bowl was held Sunday, June 1 at the Tech City Bowl in Kirkland and Acme Bowl in Tukwila.
Coming fourth out of almost 100 teams, Periwinkle Rose raised $2,341 for KidsDream of Snohomish County, an organization dedicated to helping foster children who often come from abused and neglected homes.
In all, the event raised more than $52,000 to be given to foster care partner organizations that help fund tutoring and enrichment activities for Washington's thousands of foster children.
"The Pajama Bowl has become very special to our company giving us the chance to support local charities and doing it in Periwinkle Rose style," said Periwinkle Rose founder, Jennifer Bush.
"We donated five percent of all product sales in May to the cause, and many customers also contributed directly," Bush said.
The team received an extra 100 points for being the top fundraising team at the Tech City Bowl location and was the fourth highest fundraising team overall.
Periwinkle Rose has entered a team every year since the Pajama Bowl's conception and placed 7th out of 77 teams last year.
"Next year, look for us in the top three," added Bush. The company also contributed gift bags including a tank top, a Big Dipper Wax Works travel tin candle and three samples of Forever New laundry products.
