Come gather round and hear the tale
Of one so brave, yet slightly frail
Whose classic form and stylish grace
Brought beauty to our Westside place
Alas one day that greedy sort
King Condo spied our little court
And quickly claimed this treasured prize
Then moved to hasten her demise
Her fate was looking mighty dower
For in her place he planned a tower
With clumsy lines born out of haste
And size that overshadowed taste
But those who looked to stop this beast
Before our beauty was deceased
Approached King Condo in his lair
To ask if he could be more fair
And then a miracle occurred
For once their reasons had been heard
Her story touched his savage soul
And changed the mind of that old troll
So in the end, both sides felt good
For they devised a plan that would
Increase her size and still insure
Her lovely form would long endure
So here's to those who knew her worth
Who fought so hard for her rebirth
And fearsome beasts who swallowed pride
To tip the scales on beauty's side
