West Seattle's annual Summer Fest is underway from Friday July 11, through Sunday July 13th at The Junction and along California Avenue S.W. between S.W. Edmunds St. and S.W. Oregon St.
There are a lot of options during Summer Fest for shopping and enjoying summer activities. Vendors are offering everything from sunglasses to home decor. While you are there stop by the West Seattle Herald booth and say hello. Get a copy of our history quiz and vote for the Best of West Seattle.
There are plenty of food choices available from the typical street fair food to more substantial meals.
During the day kids have a lot to do and live music is featured in the afternoon and evenings.
Days and Hours for 2008 Summer Fest:
10a.m. to 8p.m. Friday, July 11
10a.m. to 8p.m. Saturday, July 12
11a.m. to 7p.m. Sunday, July 13.
The highlights of the family fun Summer Fest include a street dance Saturday night from 8p.m. to midnight, skateboard demonstrations, two live music stages, beer gardens, a kids zone and more than 150 booths featuring all kinds of arts and crafts, products and services.
