Meet Buddy the wonder dog
This three-legged wonder has had six chemo treatments for cancer and does quite well after amputation of his left front leg.
His owner is Polly Torgerson.
He was having a great time at the annual 4th of July Three Tree Point breakfast.
Meet Danielle Smith and her pal BJ
They live at Three Tree Point in Burien.
Danielle, 19, has just graduated from Highline College and will be attending Evergreen State College this fall, majoring in Political Science.
BJ will stay home and major in gnawing bones and tail wagging.
Meet a couple of Yorkie lovers
Lori Tucker had just met Kari Dasher and they were comparing pets when I spotted them at the Des Moines Saturday Farmers Market.
They both live in Des Moines.
Lori, who retired after many years as a professional caregiver, loves gardening and helping neighbors with gardens is her special joy. Her Yorkie's name is Ty.
Kari Dasher lives in Des Moines and works as an advisor to principals in non-profits like Red Cross, foundations, and charities. Her Yorkie is named Banjo.
Shake Hands With Sire
He will even shake left handed. and if you are praying this 16-month-old Pit Bull won't bite you he will even put his front paws together on a chair and pray with you.
Sire is owned by Aaron Painter and his friend, Amanda, who live in Normandy Park.
Aaron says Sire is gentle as a kitten, well trained, and has a whole bag of tricks.
Meet Paula Brunner
She loves to walk her two dogs, Kita and Mac, rain or shine along the road at Three Tree Point. She says many drivers stop to ask about the unusual Akita breed.
Meet Debra George
Here is Debra George, holding her 2-year-old Labradoodle, Nicholas. The Mark Restaurant in Olde Burien is celebrating her dog's birthday on August 9th. No Friskie biscuits but special cupcakes will be baked for the occasion.
