Have you ever heard the adage of three times I did good, I heard nothing; one time I did bad...well you can finish the rest.
The last two letters I wrote came with a negative chip on my shoulder. I received a positive response about not wanting the traffic control lights, which are nothing more than easy cash to spend for the city.
I would assume the extra revenue would be spent as easily as an undisciplined child with a $200 extra cash he did not earn.
Excuse my attitude but I am using current spending habits of all government groups as a reference. $400,000 due in loans for each man, woman, and child living today in the USA. Wow that could get me arrested for fraud and sent to prison if I did that!
And the positive feedback about not tolerating, pan handlers, a drug dealer two blocks from the police station and graffiti marring our hard earned property.
Yes, from all the positive feedback I thank you, but I am intelligent enough not to get caught up as a professional critic. That is a person who does nothing but is an expert about those that do.
I have something nice to say. Our business owners have got huge guts and backbone and deserve applause and I can prove it.
When the economy is doing well, those in local and national government offices are quick to accept full responsibility, which is fine for an illiterate person not educated on economics.
Business owners are and have always have been the reason for a good economy. Business owners, who risk their capital, usually borrowed money on their homes and from friends, and face no guarantees of success.
They face only a 95% failure rate, undependable employees, leases, huge advertising costs, and government red tape.
They usually work 10-18 hours a days for sometimes five years and never pull a positive cash flow or a salary only to close down.
But when these people face the storm and make it this creates jobs and a good economy for all.
City and government workers risk nothing and have a 100 percent
guarantee of income plus benefits.
I am going to mention just a few business owners here, and for those who I do not mention I do not want offend you for you know we could fill up two pages with all your names
