I recently wrote expressing our concerns about Dow Constantine's three quarter page of press in the Herald spelling out all the problems regarding "Public Safety Cuts: (June 16th, 2006). We were admittedly dissatisfied with the entire column of "problems", as he understood them, with no proposed solutions.
As I mentioned, your collective constituents already have a stomach ache, sir, and our question is what are we doing about it?
Mr. Constantine's response is "Mr. Quinn's complaint is..." and progresses until his two propositions at the end of his "clarification," or as he puts it, "Thank you for the opportunity to expand on my original thoughts." A bit vague and undefined.
To put a period at the end of my original statement, it's unfortunate that I can't express myself without being portrayed as being a complainer. Is that how the thoughts and comments of your constituents are interpreted when we're not satisfied with a political proclamation? Problems we're all aware of "Just a bunch of complainers."
My family and I really are not just a bunch of complainers but look to you to make proposals we thinking people with kids, mortgages, tuition bills, and subsidizers of sports stadiums would kind of like to be educated on. Particularly solutions.
I felt our comments were in good faith. We've all discussed your response. We're no complainers. Just dad , mom and the kids trying to work through it all.
