One westbound, curb lane of the West Seattle Bridge, just east of 35th Avenue SW, will be closed Saturday, September 13, from approximately 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The closure will provide a safe work area for up to two hundred volunteers, King County DoC crews and SDOT staff who will pick up litter and pull weeds in the greenspace along the roadway.
Maintenance of this area which serves as a gateway to West Seattle was requested by the community and is part of the Mayor's citywide "Clean and Green Seattle" program.
