The return of speedster Andre Barrington gave the Eagles a much-wanted boost in the Friday, Oct. 4 game.
Barrington scored on a 66-yard interception return and on a 49-yard run in the Eagles victory over their South Puget Sound League North Division rivals.
Britton Jolley booted a 31-yard field goal for Tahoma to start the evening off, then Lologo Lologo nabbed a 7-yard touchdown pass from Nick Tanielo for the Eagles and Kelyn Rowe came out and kicked for the extra point.
Barrington scored on the 66-yard interception return after that and Rowe continued his streak of five PAT kicks.
George Williams then scored on back-to-back runs of three yards and Barrington struck on his 49-yard run.
Riverside 44, TJ 22
Three touchdowns were not enough for Thomas Jefferson to post a victory Friday, Oct. 3.
Nakaso Gasologa scored the Raiders’ first on a 29-yard pass from Kama Frank, but the pass for a two-point conversion failed.
Frank then ran for a 14-yard touchdown and then threw to Wylie Johnson for a two-point conversion. Jun Park scored on a 10-yard pass from Frank and Frank passed to Johnson for two more points.
Rogers 42, Decatur 14
Conner McFaul scored a 38-yard touchdown on a pass from John Duncan, then Duncan threw to Tyrone Faulkner for an 8-yard score. The PAT after the first touchdown failed but the second saw Jordan Flowers run for a two-point conversion.
Kentwood 69, TJ 6
Spencer Sydney scored Thomas Jefferson’s only touchdown Friday on a 9-yard pass from Kama Frank. A pass for a two-point conversion failed.

Boys tennis
TJ 4, Aub.-Riv. 1
Joe Lee scored a 6-3, 6-1 No. 1 singles victory for the Raiders last Monday, and Makoa Rosa and Kainoa Rosa combined for a 6-1, 6-2 No. 1 doubles win.
Branden Murika and Anthony Tomyn won No. 2 doubles, 6-2, 6-2, and Brandyn Gomez and Kevin Park won No. 3 doubles, 6-4, 6-3.
Decatur
The Gators took a loss last Thursday, although Murphy and Andrus were 7-6, 6-3 No. 2 doubles winners and the No. 3 team of Crahan and Belvin won, 7-6, 7-6, 1-0.
