What about the impact this (former Sunset Bowl) property is currently having on the neighborhood?

I live on 14th Avenue Northwest and ride the bus, so I pass the abandoned Sunset Bowl and its deteriorating parking lot everyday. Not only is it an eye sore, it has already become an area you do not want to walk by in the evening.

I used to be able to walk to Safeway and/or Ballard Market in the evening and feel relatively safe. However, the groups of drunks that used to hang out in the back of Denny's parking lot and the dark alleys of Old Ballard have now taken to gathering around the Sunset Bowl building.

People "doing business" from their cars can be seen parked on the lot all times of the day. There is trash all over the sidewalk extending from the corner down past the back of Ballard Market that some people are using as a toilet. The neighborhood is going to be ruined by the time these people make their decisions.
