Severe winter weather prevented about 200 ticket-holders from hearing Seattle TV icon Stan Boreson sing about "Walkin' In My Winter Underwear" at ChoralSounds Northwest's Christmas concert on Dec. 14.
Northwest Associated Arts wants to do something about that by offering a $10 credit to any future NWAA production for those holding unused tickets to ChoralSounds "Silver Bells" concert.
Marketing director Paul Bauer said 600 hearty folks attended the performance on Sunday at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien. But that means about 200 were unable to attend, presumably because of the weather.
On Saturday night, Dec. 13, about 30 paying customers did not show up.
Bauer said patrons with unused tickets should call 206-246-6040 to receive the credit for future shows.
Besides ChoralSounds, NWAA is also affiliated with youth choirs TeenSounds, YouthSounds and KidSounds as well as Cantare Vocal Ensemble.
Bauer said the credit offer would apply for any of the groups.
Snowy weather shouldn't be a problem for ChoralSounds next production in Burien. On May 16 and May 17, ChoralSounds will present "Fascinating Rhythms."
