In honor of Earth Day the Thriftway at 4201 S.W. Morgan Street bagged all groceries in free reusable canvas bags today, April 22.
"Putting a reusable bag in each one of our customer's hands is just the first step," said owner Paul Kapioski, who said his company is proactive in eco-friendly business practices.
