The Ballard High School girls tennis team suffered its third shutout in a row May 7 against Lake Washington. The team (0-10) has one match remaining for the season.

The highlight of the day for the Beavers was Jimena Diaz, who took her opponent to three sets.

Ballard's last match is a make-up match against Juanita at 3:45 p.m., May 8 at Juanita.
