Woman struck and killed in Tukwila
Police are searching for two cars after a woman was struck and killed by at least one car late April 9 in Tukwila. The accident occurred in the 10300 block of East Marginal Way. The cars are described as a red 1990s Cadillac and a silver import, possibly a Honda.. When Tukwila police arrived at the scene, the victim was in the roadway. She was transported to harborview Medical Center, where she died.. Anyone with information should contact Tukwila police at 206-433-1808.

Police car burglarized for beer money.
18 year old, Adam D. Bierig is behind bars following charges that he broke into a police cruiser for beer money. Reports said Bierig forced his way into an unmarked Lakewood police cruiser parked at the state Criminal Justice Training Center in Burien. Bierig allegedly spotted a wallet in the locked car, which he entered after forcing the window down far enough to reach the lock. He then fled with the Lakewood officer's badge, police ID and credit cards in hand. Bierig allegedly showed the badge to a friend before discarding. The other man then reported the theft to police. On Feb. 17, five days after the break-in, police conducted an extensive search. They located the police badge, credit cards and other wallet content belonging to (the officer). A police commission card was not recovered. Bierig claimed that he was homeless and needed money, some was going to be used for beer. Bierig has been charged with second-degree malicious mischief, a felony. He remains jailed at RJC in Kent on $2,500 bail.

Guilty plea in Metro bus driver attack
A 14-year-old boy was scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, April 12 for assaulting a Metro bus driver on January 23 in Tukwila. The youth pleaded guilty last week to second-degree assault. The court ordered 12 months of community supervision and 70 hours of community service for the 16-year-old. The 17-year-old was given 6 months of community supervision and 30 hours of community service.
