Skyline, third-place team in KingCo and eighth-ranked team in the state, outshot the Ballard High School boys soccer team early and often on the way to a 5-1 victory April 28.
Skyline was up 2-0 by halftime, but the Beavers avoided the shutout when Cody Hulsey scored in the 41st minute with an assist from Conner Jarvie.
Skyline then scored three unanswered goals, including two in the final five minutes, to ice the match.
