Evergreen Baseball Captain Mason Graham organized a home game against Kennedy at Steve Cox Field for his senior project.
The Evergreen wolverines boys baseball suffered a tough loss to the Kennedy Lancers Friday night, losing 13-1. The game was called after the fifth inning, invoking the mercy rule of 10 runs.
This game marked the first time Evergreen High School hosted a baseball game at Steve Cox Memorial Field in Whitecenter. The game was part of Evergreen Senior Mason Graham's senior project.

Due to proposed budget cuts that could close Evergreen's athletic fields Graham took it on as his senior project to move the baseball games to Steve Cox Memorial Field.
Sheriff's Deputy Steve Cox was killed while responding to a call in 2006. Cox was a former Evergreen student, playing basketball during high school.
