Issaquah High School blew away the Ballard High School football team in the Sept. 17 KingCo opener, putting up 53 unanswered points.
The Beavers were down 13-0 by the end of the first quarter and 27-0 at halftime. It was the worst loss suffered by Ballard since 45-0 loss to Newport on Sept. 17 of last season.
Ballard (1-2) gave up six rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns to Issaquah (3-0). Issaquah's Taylor Wyman led the scoring assault with three rushing scores.
The Beavers look to rebound as they continue KingCo play against Inglemoor High School (1-2) at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at Pop Keeney Field. Inglemoor beat Ballard 35-0 in their meeting last season.
