The Normandy Park Youth Orchestra, Boys of Greenwood Glen and Yellow Hat Band provided music and free treats were on hand thanks to Phoenix Tea and Grand Central Bakery.
The Australian Pie Company Burien Press, both across the street, stayed open late for those seeking food.
The highlight of the evening was the lantern procession got under way despite the rain around 8 p.m. LEDs or glow sticks provided much of the lantern illumination. Some glow sticks were available at the information booth for a donation.
After the procession, the Yellow Hat Band and lantern artists performed.
