Neither Ballard High School nor Inglemoor High School could put any points on the board during the Oct. 12 girls soccer match. But despite the 0-0 tie, the Beavers remain in the hunt for a playoff spot.

The Beavers' record of 2-4-1 in KingCo puts them in sixth place in the conference and in position for one of the final playoff spots.

Ballard has three matches left to earn the spot. A win against winless Newport at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Newport High School would certainly help their cause.
