Nighttime Beach Low Tide
Ages 8 and older – kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Have you ever been at the beach for a low tide at nighttime? If not, you will see why it is worth bundling up, staying up late and bringing your friends. Meet at Constellation Park. Please register by calling 206-684-7434.

West Seattle Bird Loop
Ages 8 and older – kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Explore West Seattle’s fascinating array of parks while learning to identify winter birds. This van-based tour includes short hikes (two miles total) into Jack Block, Alki, Me-Kwa-Mooks and Lincoln Parks and a bakery/hot drink stop along the way. We may see up to 30 species of birds as we explore beautiful parks featuring ecological restorations and diverse ecosystems. Come prepared with rain gear, fleece, layer clothes, warm boots, and binoculars. Meet outside the Camp Long Lodge. Please register by calling 206-684-7434.

Free Walks in South Seattle – Native Plant Woodland Walks
Ages 1 and older – kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The walks this quarter will highlight native plants and Pacific Northwest forest ecology. Explore your backyard. Seattle’s park system boasts more than 6,000 acres of property. With more than 400 parks, you could visit a new property every day of the year and still have lots left over! Share some time with a naturalist as you learn about the natural history and habitat these spaces provide. Family oriented. All ages are welcome! Please register by calling 206-684-7434.
