Ballard High School hosted the Garfield Bulldogs on Friday for some tough games.

Garfield is the leading scoring girls basketball team in the KingCo league this season and the Lady Beavers struggled. While the Beavers cut their turnovers in half from the previous Skyline game, the shooting wasn't up to par to their usual game. The Beavers defense tried to keep the damage at bay and Garfield scored 5 points under their average. The Lady Beavers lost 33 to 55.

The boys varsity team lost to the Bulldogs as well. The Bulldogs gained the lead in the first quarter and kept it for the rest of the game. Ballard tried to make a comeback in the fourth quarter but were unable to catch up. They lost 67 to 81
