Detective Mark Jamieson confirmed that a missing person report was filed with the Seattle Police Department on Jan. 1. Jamieson said the case has been assigned to a detective within the SPD missing persons unit.
According to his uncle John Peck (who filed the missing person report), Jeremy Peck, 24, was last seen at approximately 1:15 am Christmas Eve near the Admiral Pub on California Ave. in West Seattle.
As of Jan. 10 John Peck said he was contacted by an SPD detective last week and suggested to the detective that he look at surveillance tapes from the Admiral Pub on the night of Jeremy's disappearance. John is waiting to hear back from the detective for more information.
Family and friends of Jeremy Peck have been proactive in looking for him, coordinating search parties and distributing missing person fliers across West Seattle.
