On the early hours of Sunday, Jan 9th, SPD received a series of call coming from a bar in Fremont. Bar security was detaining a male who had threatened to shoot them. Another called claimed security was choking the man. And a third update informed the police that a female inside the bar had been struck by a bottle and required medical attention.
When the police officers arrived to the scene, they observes security straddling and holding a man down on the ground on his back. Security stated the man had thrown a bottle which had struck a female inside.
The man was very intoxicated and hostile with the police officers. He refused to comply with orders to remain seated on the ground, attempted to get up, and swore profanities.
Officers handcuffed the man when he continued to be belligerent and uncooperative.
One bar employee stated that he had approached a group at a table to tell the women in the party they weren't allowed to stand on the booth. While the women were compliant and sat down, the belligerent man walked up to the employee and shoved him with his body. The employee told him that type of behavior was not acceptable and the man responded with a threat saying the employee didn't know who he was dealing with and threatened to shoot him.
He was then escorted out of the bar. Just inside the front door, the man grabbed a beer bottle and flung it back behind him blindly. When he fell down outside the bar, he threatened to come back and shoot the employee. That’s when security detained him and called the police.
Security said they did not take the threat too seriously, but wanted it documented in case something should happen later.
The victim was sitting at a booth, uninvolved in any disturbance, when she
was struck by a bottle on the top of her head. She was treated by Seattle Fire for a laceration to her head and had to be transported via ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into King Co Jail.

On Monday evening officers were dispatched for a Service Assist. The complainant had called 911 stating that when he arrived home around 6 p.m. after work, he found that all the locks to the house he’s currently renting had been changed and were lights on inside. The complainant knocked on the door, heard noised of someone walking inside, but no one answered the door.
The complainant also mentioned that he had received a text message earlier that week from the previous owner of the residence stating that he was coming over but
did not supply a reason.
The previous owner rented the house in August 2010 but lost the house to foreclosure. The house was taken over by Fannie Mae (US Bank and Property Management) and the complainant entered into a new rent agreement on October 29th, 2010.
Officers were provided a copy of both rental agreements.
Officers knocked loudly on the residence door and announced they were the police but no contact was made despite the fact that noises were heard from inside.
The locks on each door appeared new and had a fine powder around them indicating that they were recently changed.
Officers backed off and set up a perimeter. As officers spotlighted the house, a
male and a female were observed peering out of windows of residence. The possessors were called out and surrendered voluntarily without any incident, claiming that they recently came in from out of town, had rented a room to the victim and that they never left the residence. They denied losing the residence to a foreclosure process. They said they refused to answer the door for the complainant as they feared he would burglarize the residence if they allowed him to come in. The police report states that the couple gave inconsistent stories as to why they were at the residence and were arrested for Investigation of Residential Burglary and remanded into the custody of King County Jail.
