Meeting organizer Ben Doty shared the agenda with the West Seattle Herald.
"At the meeting today we will discuss how to turn the Vigil (this sunday) into a serious action and deployment of our efforts. We will decide on who our volunteer coordinator will be today and figure out what jobs/activities people can sign up to do.
We're unifying and organizing our efforts and we hope to get anybody involved in the process that feels compelled.
A few things were currently working on or working towards:
- Building a reward for tips or info
- Posting mass flyers
- distributing leaflets
- making awareness buttons
- having the vigil
- organizing fundraiser(s) - We'll talk more about that today.
- Havng a significant online presence
etc....we'll see what we come up with.
Information about Jeremy Peck
Jeremy Peck was last seen the early morning hours of Christmas eve, about 1:00 am at the Admiral Pub on California Ave.
Peck is 6' 1", 177 lb
Brown Hair
Brown eyes
Last seen wearing blue Jeans, tennis shoes, black waist length coat over a gray hoodie type sweatshirt
He was with several friends at the pub who left before he did so its likely he walked home. Friends of Jeremy showed bus drivers this week, on the route he would have taken home the flyers that we made and passed out with his picture, but the drivers don't recall seeing him. Jeremy lived with his uncle John near the Juneau and Fauntleroy area and did not have a vehicle, so if he walked home he would have walked down California Ave. to Alaska or even Juneau, most likely.
