While the varsity baseball game got rained out in Bothell last night, the girls lacrosse team braved the weather at Snohomish's Harvey Air Field and won their match.
Ballard's Maddie Soukup netted four goals to get Ballard its first win of the season with a 14 – 12 win over Snohomish.
Jyane Barnes, Kelsey Barta, Jessica Bryan and Haley Jackson all netted two goals and Hannah Breton had 13 saves.
Kaya Reilly netted 5 goals and Jessica Toy and Madison Posivio combined for 6 saves in the nets for Snohomish. With the loss, Snohomish slipped to 4th place in the Northeast Division.
Ballard is placed 8th.
Ballard next faces Lakeside at home on Friday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m.
