Looking for a place to go Easter egg hunting this weekend? Check out the following options in and around Ballard:
The Ballard Community Center will be hosting an Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own bag or basket for collecting. Non perishable food donations gladly accepted.

The Woodland Park Zoo is hosting their annual Bunny Bounce. The Zoo will host a hunt for kids and Easter treats for the animals.
The annual event offers egg hunts for children ages 1 to 8, crafts, bunny encounters, entertainment and eggs-citing zoo programs throughout the day.
Space for egg hunts might be limited and is open on a first-come, first-served basis.
Children are encouraged to bring their own egg hunt basket or reusable bag.
For the health and well being of zoo animals, candy will not be placed inside the eggs – egg hunt participants will receive their treats as they exit the zoo.
The Bunny Bounce takes place from 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Egg hunts for ages 3 and under are held in the Picnic Shelter near the North Meadow: 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Egg hunts for ages 3-5 and 6-8 in the North Meadow: 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., noon, 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.
Easter treats will be given to the animals according to the following schedule.
Orangutans 10 a.m.

Snow leopards 11 a.m.
Lions 11 am.
Sloth bears 11 a.m.
Pigs 11:30 a.m.

People should enter the zoo through the West Entrance at Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th & N. 56th Sts. or South Entrance at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N.
Bunny Bounce and treats for the animals are free with zoo admission.
The Loyal Heights Community Center free egg hunt for children ages 2 through 10 at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Nonperishable food-bank donations are suggested. The Loyal Heights Community Center is located at 2101 N.W. 77th St.
And the Magnolia Community Center just across the water will be hosting a free egg hunt of Saturday as well. Kids under 12 are welcome. Magnolia Community Center is located at 2550 34th Ave. W.
