This season the market has more vendors, new farmers, all your favorite farmers from past seasons, new artisan cheeses and yummy street foods to-go. 11 am – 3 pm – Corner of Broadway and East Pine. Opening Day of the Broadway Farmers Market will feature the SCCC Jazz Ensemble, The Sister of Perpetual Indulgence and free plant starts and seeds for the first 200 shoppers.
New Artisan Cheese – Port Madison Farm has an original farmstead goat cheese to kick off the new season on Capitol Hill. “Broadway Cheese” is a soft, runny, ripe and stinky French style (Reblechon) cheese with a dark golden rind. The cheese was created in honor of the market’s new location!!
