Normally this wayfinding kiosk just north of Me-Kwa-Mooks park on Beach Drive would have a map and artwork in it. That's coming, but for now, someone with a sense of humor has installed an improvised sign.
One of the new wayfinding kisoks, the West Seattle Herald told you about first, sponsored by FeetFirst and being installed around West Seattle, attracted the attention of someone with a waggish sense of humor on Beach Drive s.w. in the 4400 block. The kiosks, when complete will feature the art of well known local artists Paul Sorey and Mike Raney
It's true that after a cold winter and a record cold month of April, the roads are suffering and Beach Drive seems to suffer more than most.
But the City of Seattle does have people out taking care of the potholes as rapidly as possible. It's a never ending task since the natural processes of erosion never stop.

It's likely that with warmer, dry weather, the repair crews will have a chance to fix more of the rough spots.
