Here is our story on the production at WSHS of OKLAHOMA!
Included are photos the production wants to share from Thursday night's WSHS Drama Club special benefit event and performance. The event involved a lot of different programs at West Seattle High: the WSHS Orchestra performed during the event, the food was provided by our Pro Start program, and the cast and crew had a chance to mingle with community supporters before they saw the show.

About the Show:
Oklahoma! is the first true modern American musical. Opening in 1943, Oklahoma! was Rodgers and Hammerstein’s first joint collaboration. It was also the first musical to tell a story with music, dance and lyrics, was the first to have an original cast album, held the record for longest running musical for 15 years, and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1944!
WSHS students make up both cast and orchestra. With some of the top songs in musical theatre, including "Oh What a Beautiful Morning", "The Surrey with the Fringe on Top", “People Will Say We're in Love, "I Can't Say No", and of course, "Oklahoma!”, it’s a musical treat great for the entire family.
