High schools
State girls swimming
The King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way is hosting the state girls swimming and diving meet this coming Friday and Saturday for all classifications.
The 3A preliminaries get underway at 9:45 a.m. Friday, followed by the 4A prelims at 2 p.m. and the 2A at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday is the finals for all classifications, starting with the 3A at 9:25 a.m.
The first 4A finals race starts at 2:20 p.m. and the 2A starts at 7:10 p.m.
State volleyball
Kennedy travels to the Toyota Center in Kennewick to play in the Class 4A state tournament Friday, starting off with a 1:30 p.m. match against Eastlake. The tournament runs through Saturday.
Girls soccer
Kennedy opens state playoff action this Tuesday, taking on Lake Stevens in a 7 p.m. match at Renton Memorial Stadium.
The winner advances to a Friday or Saturday state quarterfinal.
Pros
Seahawks
Seattle will have a short week of practice, playing in the Thursday night football game on Channel 5.
The Seahawks pay a visit to the Arizona Cardinals at 5:25 p.m.
Sounders
Seattle advances to the Western Conference finals next week after defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps by a 2-0 score in its second semifinal game Thursday. The teams tied 0-0 in the first game.
The Sounders await the winner of the Portland vs. Houston series for a 7 p.m. match
Tuesday, Nov. 21 to be aired on FS1.
Thunderbirds
Seattle hosts the Tri-City Americans for a 7:35 p.m. Western Hockey League match at the Showare Center in Kent on Friday before entertaining the Kamloops Blazers at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
Silvertips
Everett visits Price George for 7 p.m. Western Hockey League action this Friday and Saturday.
Stars
Tacoma drops in on the Turlock Express for a 7:05 p.m. professional indoor soccer match Friday before visiting the San Diego Sockers at 5:05 p.m. Saturday.

Husky football
The University of Washington visits Stanford for a 7:30 p.m. game Friday that can be seen on FS1 cable.
Cougar football
Washington State University goes to Utah for 2:30 p.m. action Saturday on the Pac-12 cable network.
Husky volleyball
Washington hosts Stanford for a 7 p.m. match Wednesday and California at the same time Thursday with the Pac-12 network showing both.
Husky men's hoop
The UW hosts Belmont for a 7 p.m. game Friday and entertains Eastern Washington University at 5 p.m. Sunday with the Pac-12 network airing both games live.
Husky women's hoop
Washington will host Idaho State in 1 p.m. action Sunday.
Cougar men's hoop
The Cougars entertain Texas Southern for a 1 p.m. game Sunday on Pac-12 cable.
Cougar women's hoop
Washington State University visits UC Davis at 7 p.m. Friday and St. Mary's at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Redhawk men's hoop
Seattle University opens at St. Louis with a 5 p.m. contest Friday before hosting the University of Puget Sound at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Idaho State visits the Lady Redhawks at 6 p.m. Friday and Hawaii comes to Seattle for a 1 p.m. game Sunday.
