Boys basketball

Chief Sealth hosts Ingraham for a 7:30 p.m. game Tuesday as West Seattle entertains Eastside Catholic and Ballard plays host to Franklin. Chief Sealth visits O’Dea at the same time Friday and at 8:30 p.m. that day Ballard is at Garfield and West Seattle at Blanchet. Ballard gets a 6 p.m. visit from Bremerton on Saturday.

Kennedy Catholic hosts Kentridge and Mount Rainier entertains Kentlake at 7 p.m. Tuesday and at the same time Thursday Mount Rainier is home against Kentridge and Kennedy at Hazen. Kennedy goes to Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m. Saturday and Mount Rainier to Hazen at 7:45 p.m. Saturday.

Evergreen visits Foss and Foster goes to Washington at 7 p.m. Tuesday before Evergreen drops in on Summit Sierra at the same time Thursday. Friday’s schedule has Evergreen hosting Lindbergh and Foster at Foss at 7 p.m.

Highline hosts Orting and Tyee travels to Clover Park for 7 p.m. action Tuesday. Thursday at the same time Tyee hosts Bush and Friday the Totems host Steilacoom and Highline visits River Ridge at 7 p.m.

Seattle Christian visits Auburn Adventist at 6 p.m. Thursday and Lynden Christian at the same time Saturday, while Seattle Lutheran is at home in West Seattle playing Christian Faith at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Girls basketball

West Seattle gets a 7:30 p.m. visit from Eastside Catholic on Wednesday as Chief Sealth hosts Ingraham and Ballard hosts Franklin. Friday at 7 p.m. Ballard is at Garfield and West Seattle at Blanchet with Chief Sealth visiting Holy Names at 7:30 p.m.

Ballard gets a visit from Lake Washington at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Mount Rainier visits Kentlake and Kennedy goes to Kentridge for 7 p.m. action Tuesday and Kennedy hosts Hazen and Mount Rainier visits Kentridge at the same time Thursday. The Rams visit Hazen at 6:15 p.m. Saturday and the Lancers host Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m. that day.

Tyee plays a 7 p.m. home game against Clover Park on Tuesday as Highline visits Orting and Highline entertains River Ridge and Tyee goes to Steilacoom at the same time Friday. Tyee gets a 3 p.m. visit from Seattle Christian on Saturday.

Evergreen hosts Ingraham at 7 p.m. Monday and Foss at the same time Tuesday as Foster entertains Washington. Summit Sierra visits Evergreen at 7 p.m. Thursday and the Wolverines travel to Lindbergh at the same time Friday as Foster hosts Foss. Foster gets a 6 p.m. visit from Franklin on Saturday.

Seattle Christian plays a 7 p.m. home game against Auburn Adventist on Wednesday and visits Lindbergh at the same time Thursday, with Seattle Lutheran entertaining Christian Faith at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Gymnastics

Ballard plays host to Columbia River, Mercer Island and Nathan Hale at 7 p.m. Friday, and Mount Rainier and Kennedy Catholic are at Enumclaw with Federal Way at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Evergreen visits Tyee at 7 p.m. Monday as Highline hosts Lindbergh and Renton.

Boys wrestling

West Seattle hosts Chief Sealth, Ingraham and Nathan Hale at 6:30 p.m. Thursday as Ballard entertains Blanchet, Lakeside and Roosevelt.

Ballard goes to Squalicum for a 10 a.m. tournament Saturday and Kennedy goes to Lindbergh for a tournament at the same time.

Kennedy hosts Tahoma and Mount Rainier hosts Kentridge at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Evergreen battles Washington at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin Pierce and takes on the host Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on the same mat.

Foster travels to White River to face the host Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Fife at 6:30 p.m.

Evergreen goes to Highline for a 9 a.m. tournament Saturday.

Highline, meanwhile, hosts Cascade Christian at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Girls wrestling

Highline hosts Evergreen for a tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Boys swimming

Ballard hosts Nathan Hale for a 4 p.m. meet Friday as West Seattle and Chief Sealth host Franklin at the Southwest Athletic Complex pool.

Kennedy Catholic is home at the City of Tukwila pool taking on Hazen at 3 p.m. Thursday and Mount Rainier visits Kentwood at 3 p.m. that day.

Renton goes to Evergreen along with Highline and Tyee for 3 p.m. action Thursday.

Girls bowling

Kennedy Catholic travels to Secoma Lanes in Federal Way to take on Decatur at 3 p.m. Tuesday before hosting Thomas Jefferson at Hiline Lanes at the same time Thursday.

Seahawks

Seattle hosts the Los Angeles Rams for a 1:05 p.m. game Sunday that can be seen on Channel 13 television.

The action takes place at CenturyLink Field.

 

Thunderbirds

Prince George visits Seattle for 7:35 p.m. Western Hockey League action at the Showare Center in Kent this Friday.

 

Stars

Tacoma hosts Soles De Senora for a 7:05 p.m. men’s professional indoor soccer match Saturday and for a 5:05 p.m. match Sunday.

Both matches take place at the Showare Center in Kent.

Husky football

The University of Washington is set to play in the Fiesta Bowl at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30 against Penn State in Glendale, Ariz.

 

Cougar football

Washington State University plays in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 against Michigan State.

 

Husky men’s hoop

Washington hosts Loyola Marymount for 3 p.m. action Sunday on the Pac-12 cable network.

The Huskies play North Carolina at 1 p.m. Sunday in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Washington State University plays host to IUPUI at 3 p.m. Saturday in Pullman on the Pac-12 network.
