West Seattle journeyed to Ballard and swept a mixed doubleheader against the Beavers on Friday.
The Wildcats won on the boys side by a 52-42 score after the girls had posted a 51-37 victory.
West Seattle improved to 11-0 in Metro League girls basketball action and to 13-3 overall, with all of the losses being out of state.
In other action
In other boys action Friday, Chief Sealth emerged victorious over Bainbridge by a 59-54 score and Kennedy Catholic edged Kent-Meridian, 51-50, as Mount Rainier towered above Hazen, 60-43.
Seattle Lutheran was a 63-43 winner over Rainier Christian that night.
Cascade Christian topped the Seattle Christian team, 53-38, and Franklin Pierce handed Evergreen a 70-32 loss as Clover Park edged out Highline, 54-53.
Renton was an 82-42 winner over Tyee and Lindbergh defeated Foster, 66-59.
On the girls side Friday, Highline blasted Clover Park by a 77-37 score and Kennedy defeated Kent-Meridian, 44-40.
Seattle Christian lost a tough one by a 53-50 score to Cascade Christian and Hazen defeated Mount Rainier, 40-29 as Chief Sealth took a close 43-40 loss to Bainbridge.
Evergreen fell to Franklin Pierce, 63-22.
In Saturday non-league action, the Kennedy girls defeated Olympic, 48-44, and the Highline girls lost to Sammamish, 60-52.
