Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan will host her first West Seattle town hall meeting this Saturday, February 24 at 1 pm at the Senior Center of West Seattle 4217 SW Oregon. The event is open to the public but seating is limited. This will be her first Town Hall meeting and the first following her State of the City address delivered last Tuesday.

She announced that she will discuss her vision for building a more affordable, inclusive Seattle in West Seattle.

“It is too hard for families and small businesses to stay or find a place in our great City, and our young people have been priced out of higher education and the jobs of the future that come along with it,” said Mayor Durkan. “I’m committed to listening to our community and working together to address our shared challenges, so we can create real opportunity and a more vibrant future for generations to come.”
