The Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections has given the conditional go ahead for the construction of a four-story apartment building containing 27 small efficiency dwelling units and 39 apartment units at 2222 SW Barton. No parking will be provided.

The building was originally conceived as an 80 unit building and is not required to have parking since it is located in the Westwood - Highland Park Residential Urban Village zone and the site is located (per SDCI GIS) in a frequent transit corridor
