High schools
Girls basketball
West Seattle High School will wait until the state quarterfinals on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. to play in the Class 3A tournament at the Tacoma Dome, playing the survivor from a loser-out first round game on Wednesday.
Seattle Christian, meanwhile, is at the Yakima Sun Dome playing a loser-out first round game at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday against Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls in Eastern Washington.
Both tournaments run through Saturday.

Stars
Tacoma’s professional indoor soccer team wraps up its regular season Friday, hosting the Kansas City Comets at 7:35 p.m. at the Showare Center in Kent.
Kennedy graduate Vince McCluskey is a member of the team and Thomas Jefferson graduate Darren Sawatzky is the coach.
Thunderbirds
Seattle will be at the Showare Center in Kent on Tuesday, playing Vancouver in 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League action.
The Thunderbirds visit Portland at 7 p.m. Friday and Everett at 7:05 p.m. Saturday before coming back to the Showare Center to face Portland at 5:05 p.m. Sunday.
Sounders
Seattle hosts Santa Tecla for a 7 p.m. CONCACAF game Thursday before entertaining Los Angeles at 2 p.m. Sunday in a match to be carried on ESPN.
Mariners
Seattle is in Arizona for spring training action and will play split-squad games Tuesday. One Mariners team will visit Kansas City at 12:05 p.m. and the other visits San Diego at 12:10 p.m.
The Mariners will be back together Thursday for a 12:10 p.m. visit to Kansas City before visiting Milwaukee Friday, hosting the Los Angeles Angels in Peoria at 5:40 p.m. Saturday and visiting Texas at 12:05 p.m. Sunday.
ROOT Sports will televise Thursday and Saturday’s games.
Colleges
Husky men’s basketball
Washington is still in the regular season for men’s basketball, hosting Oregon at 6 p.m. Thursday and Oregon State at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Thursday’s game can be seen on ESPN2 and Saturday’s on the Pac-12 network.
Husky women’s basketball
The Huskies play in the Pac-12 tournament to be hosted at the KeyArena in Seattle, taking on California at 2 p.m. Thursday. The winner plays UCLA at the same time Friday.
Lydia Giomi from West Seattle and the Oregon Ducks first play Colorado or Utah at 11:30 a.m. Friday and Mount Rainier’s Brittany McPhee and the Stanford Cardinal play at 6 p.m. that day against Thursday’s Washington State vs. USC winner.
Semifinals for Friday’s winners are at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Saturday and the championship game at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Cougar men’s basketball
Washington State University entertains Oregon at 6 p.m. Thursday on ESPN2 and Oregon State at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on the Pac-12 network.
Cougar women’s basketball
The Cougars take on USC at 6 p.m. Thursday at the KeyArena in Seattle.
Redhawk men’s basketball
Seattle University visits Utah Valley for a 6 p.m. Saturday game.
Redhawk women’s basketball
Seattle University entertains Utah Valley at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Falcon men’s basketball
Seattle Pacific University plays Alaska Anchorage in a 2:15 p.m. Thursday GNAC tournament game.
Falcon women’s basketball
Mount Rainier graduate Jordan McPhee and the Falcons are in Anchorage playing Simon Fraser at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the GNAC tournament.
Husky baseball
Washington plays Michigan State at 1 p.m. Friday and visits Minnesota at 5 p.m. Saturday.
Husky fastpitch softball
Kennedy graduate Maggie Gallagher and the Huskies host Alabama at 3:45 p.m. Friday and entertain Northwestern at 6 p.m. that day.
Redhawk baseball
Seattle visits Oregon for a 6 p.m. game Tuesday before coming home to play Seton Hall at 10 a.m. Friday.
